Gorgeous Transformation of Men's Wedding Ring to Wearable Fluid Hearts
My client came to me with her husband's unworn 9ct wedding band which was languishing in a drawer - loved - but not worn.

Of course it could indeed stay there as a tactile love token or it could be released, revived and reloved into a necklace which can be worn again and again.
We set about designing 3 symbolic hearts to represent the family, two in silver slightly smaller than the gold. Each organically shaped molten heart can be worn on it's own for an entirely different look, or all three together as a family unit.

The Making Process
It took a very careful process of creating wire from the melted gold and then coaxing it ever so slowly by flame into a flowing fluid heart shape. All of the gold could be incorporated into the heart with this way of working which is really lovely.
A really satisfying process, entirely random and unique each time. The finished hearts were then smoothed, polished and hallmarked. Before being added to a beautiful chunky silver belcher chain substantial enough to hold these bold and tactile pendants.
While not my signature style this was such an inspiring process for me and resulted in just the look my client was hoping for to refresh this precious piece of jewellery.
